Contractions

Use a contraction in each of your spelling sentences today.

What's a contraction?

Contractions are easy to spot.  It's when two words have been stuck together and an apostrophe shows where some letters have been chopped out.

It's like a mark from an axe showing where the letters have been chopped away.
